And, tecnical they continue perfect, but, you don't think that had something wrong? Maybe I am crazy, but i felt that was missing their "feeling" for each other, that always enchanted us.

Yes, they changed their music after Champs camp, but there was no official announcement so I didn't post any notice. I really like this program. It has a lovely waltz feel with a certain carriage, elegance, and refinement. Also, it allows them to show their versatility and improvement from some of their recent more fast-paced and dramatic programs. It was enchanting in a different way. Bravo Meryl and Charlie!

I agree. i love everything that Meryl and Charlie do. Peharps it's the first presentation, but i stay with the sensation that was missing something. Thanks a lot for the interaction!!

They are, as usual, technically perfect. The music is great but, I think, they are still trying to get used to this program. Charlie seemed to try to concentrate while trying to be artistic at the same time hence the 'disconnect' that the viewer would feel while viewing it. Look at his expression in the begining _ eyes close but you almost could sense that he wasn't that ready to really 'fly' whereas Meryl's expression showed her almost in an ethereal state _ she just wanted to let her spirit soar _ just 'be there'. I love her expression: It was like she's saying this is my 'time' ...my space.

That's what I think when watching them.He was disconnect.Something seems bother him a lot.He seems avoid looking to her. That was stranger. She is a beautful butterfly like always.Go Meryl and Charlie. You can 'clean' it for the nationals!!

Yes, he seemed evasive. I think, he was still in that stage where he was trying to 'get to it' _ both to the program-content and the 'spirit' whereas Meryl had already 'embraced' it and just trying to feel the right 'pace' to polish her performance ... rhythm ... edges. I think between now and the nationals, the program will be worked on to further refine it _ the artistic expression and perhaps some 'spots' requiring adjustments to make it more fluid and seamless. Sometimes, I could see them trying to capture or feel the pace, rhythm - the beat. The last part, they probably can inject more speed to be more in time with the tempo/beat. Once, they have done that _ found the appropriate 'pace', the program and their movements will look more fluid and connected. Notwithstanding it is a great program.

In this program, you could see Meryl's artistic maturity really shining through in her beautiful lines and 'expressions'. She needs to release tension in those of arms and hands of hers to enhance 'grace'. What enhances Katia's lyricism and elegance is the way she moves her arms and hands - a quality that became apparent around the time she and Sergei turned professional. Charlie, artistically, seems to have not improved much but he remains a solid and reliable partner.

After all, what's wrong with Charlie? He seems distant, cold, as if something troubled him greatly. She still is a beautiful butterfly, she's lightness and soft, but Charlie is disappoint us.

Wonderful FD but, again, something is missing. The disconnect is just so apparent but the footwork ... choreography, over-all, simply awesome. I wonder how long they'll stay together ... Charlie's going through the motions wonderfully but he seemed emotionally not as engaged as he was in their earlier works like 'Samson & Delilah' and 'POTO'. I hope they get things straightened out whatever seems to be problem as I hope to see them winning worlds and eventually the Olympics.

I am really scare. I hope that the relationship between Charlie and Tanith don't separate Charlie and Meryl. It seems that is the trouble, maybe? I am really really scare. Can someone please calm me down?

OMG, is this the same crazy person commenting over and over again. CALM DOWN, breathe, relax.

I don't think the Tanith-Charlie relationship is the problem. It can be stress: it is not easy being at the top. Even though they did not win gold in the olympics, they were the unbeatable team last year until Vancuover. These two are also attending the university and that is another stress. Anyway, my fear is one or both will get burned out. I think it is good that one of them is having a relationship .... that can be good emotionally - a healthy diversion.

G & G experienced burnout by 1990. Katia in her book talked about how they were so tired of practicing their elements, etc. They just wanted to be together and take things at a much relaxing pace. Katia did sort of have problems in 1990 but after taking off a year from 'amateur competitions' they came back stronger, more expressive and artistic.

I think that's more speculation in these comments. It's just the first presentation, and in others seasons had this "adaptation time",too.Hey guys, just keep enjoy Meryl and Charlie. They have thirteen years togheter! They know what they doing!Right??

I don't know if any of you have noticed or not, but Meryl and Charlie have been rather busy for the last 8 months. Touring, shows, TV specials, and interviews have all been piled onto of their usual pre-season routine. That is bound to hamper their training somewhat. It's to be expected that not only they, but all the teams who competed throughout last season will be a bit rougher around the edges to start the season than a year ago. For those of you who are younger and have not been through this routine, this happens at the beginning of EVERY new Olympic cycle. The top teams always take awhile to get into the swing of things, primarily because of extended touring. It's unfair to speculate that anything else is happening. After all, they are not robots and are not going to maintain the same level as Vancouver 365 days a year. You have to build back up to that level over time. Please relax

Hi, well i really liked their program. Being honest, for me, it's their best program. About the synchrony, i think this will improve with time. And, last season i felt Charlie more distant and unfocused than now...
Well, but i'm commenting for an single reason: the SP disappeared. I wanna know if someone have a safe link to download it.
