M & C did this interview last month, but better late than never! VLADISLAV: You started figure skating when you were a children. Can you think back to that period?
MERYL: I have no memory of my first
experiences on the ice, but I have seen many videos of my early days in skates and I would say utter joy would describe the effects that experience had on me as a five-year-old. I remember the same feeling as I got older, and more involved in skating. I think, for me, there is no question that I fell in love with the sport immediately. CHARLIE: When I first started skating, all I could really do was walk; however, as soon as I learned the basics, all I wanted to do was go as fast as possible.
